Short answers about PrepRole: how a Mock Session works, how we compare to other practice tools, what a Scorecard is, how to debrief a Real Interview, and what each Interview Stage includes.
How PrepRole works
PrepRole is voice-first interview rehearsal for a specific Target Role: you paste the job post and resume, practise out loud with an AI Interviewer, and get a hiring-style Scorecard — not a generic quiz list.
PrepRole vs other interview practice
PrepRole is for rehearsing a real job out loud: Target Role from the job post, Candidate Background from your resume, spoken Mock Sessions, and a Scorecard with Top Fixes rewritten from your answers. Peer mocks and question banks do not do that combination.
Scorecards, Coach Mode, and Interview Mode
A PrepRole Scorecard is a hiring-style Verdict, Dimension Scores, and three Top Fixes after a Mock Session. Coach Mode gives a short tip after each answer; Interview Mode stays silent until the Scorecard.
Debrief a Real Interview
After a real interview, paste its transcript (or import a Jamie meeting you tagged or picked) into PrepRole to get the same hiring-style Scorecard as a Mock Session. Link a Target Role to save the interviewer's questions as Known Questions for later practice. Prefer capture you control — your notes, Otter, or Jamie on your device — over asking the company to send a recording.
Interview Stages, Code Pad, and Whiteboard
PrepRole covers four Interview Stages: Recruiter Screen, Behavioral (STAR), Technical Deep-Dive with a Code Pad the interviewer reads but never executes, and System Design with a shared Whiteboard and Probes.
