Interview Stages, Code Pad, and Whiteboard
PrepRole covers four Interview Stages: Recruiter Screen, Behavioral (STAR), Technical Deep-Dive with a Code Pad the interviewer reads but never executes, and System Design with a shared Whiteboard and Probes.
Recruiter Screen
Motivation, story of your background, and fit for the Target Role. Conversation-first; no Code Pad or Whiteboard.
Behavioral (STAR)
Situation, Task, Action, Result. Coach Mode is especially useful here so missing Results get caught before the real screen.
Technical Deep-Dive
Spoken technical questions plus a Code Pad. The AI Interviewer reads what you type so it can probe tradeoffs and bugs. Code is never executed on PrepRole servers.
System Design
Shared Whiteboard for boxes and arrows. The AI Interviewer can pin Probes on specific elements (for example what happens if a cache is cold). You draw; they challenge the design out loud.
Toughness and persona
Friendly, Neutral, or Tough sets how hard they push. Optionally name an Interviewer Persona (name, title, style notes) when you know who you will meet.
