Debrief a Real Interview

After a real interview, paste its transcript (or import a Jamie meeting you tagged or picked) into PrepRole to get the same hiring-style Scorecard as a Mock Session. Link a Target Role to save the interviewer's questions as Known Questions for later practice. Prefer capture you control — your notes, Otter, or Jamie on your device — over asking the company to send a recording.

What you get

The same Scorecard shape as after a Mock Session: a hiring-style Verdict, Dimension Scores, and Top Fixes rewritten from your answers. Link a Target Role when you import so the interviewer's questions become Known Questions for later Mock Sessions.

How to bring the interview in

  1. Paste or upload — Zoom, Teams, Meet, Otter, or your own notes, with a speaker before each line (for example Interviewer: … / Me: …).
  2. Jamie — tag the meeting interview, or pick it under recent titles. Match your name in the transcript (or Speaker 0 if Jamie has not identified you yet). Untagged meetings are never read until you choose them.

Open Real Interviews to import.

Getting a transcript without awkward asks

Prefer capture you control: notes you typed, Otter or a phone memo on your side, or Jamie on your device. If it feels natural, you can ask whether you may keep a transcript for your own review — company tools (Notion, Gemini) often cannot be shared outside. Do not rely on the interviewer emailing you their internal notes.

Why this matters

Mock Sessions and Real Interviews stack into Recurring Gaps, so a weakness from a real screen shapes the next practice round instead of getting repeated.
